Tom Coleman Workshop (Tom Coleman Workshop)

As Co-Chair for the 2016-2017 Willamette Ceramics Guild I hope to encourage all members of the Guild to – at the very least – put a picture of yourself on the WCG Website.  Even better – type in something about you and your involvement in pottery.  I know that there are many people in the guild who don’t know everyone in the guild.  It is hard to put names to all the faces, especially for me! When I first moved to Corvallis 6 years ago, and even before I joined the Guild, I went to the WCG Website a lot and clicked on  “more” after each potters name to try to learn who was who and a little something about them.  Whenever there was a photo of the potter – that really helped! But many people had no information about themselves to click on, including me.  I am intimidated by computers and I didn’t try to get any info about myself on the website, until now. But since I really want to encourage you all to use your page – I’m starting to use mine. I thought I would start out by just posting a few of the pots I have made since coming to Corvallis in 2010.  I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to make these pots in the wonderful studio at Benton Center.
