Connecting ceramic artists in the Willamette Valley and beyond.
-
Community.
Established at the Corvallis Art Center in the early 1960s as the ‘Clay Clan’ the Willamette Ceramics Guild has grown into a large group ceramic artists who support each other and ceramic art in the Mid-Willamette Valley.
Highly visible in the community, members of the guild exhibit and sell their work at the Corvallis Fall Festival, in local galleries and at community and holiday markets. Some guild members sell their work at marketplaces regionally and nationally.
-
Artists.
Some guild members have employment outside of ceramics while others work professionally as artists in the community or as instructors at the university, community college, high schools and middle schools. Many of our members have their own studios; some work in community studios at OSU or LBCC.
